Increase CRO with Thought Provoking Pictures

When it comes to the ever-increasing important CRO or conversion rate optimization, one thing that is often overlooked is the power of a good picture. But, simply posting a picture here and there is not going to be enough to take full advantage of possible CRO. Pictures have to be able to be thought-provoking and inviting enough to induce clicks and inquires. So, how can this be done in a way that is both economical and quick?

It may seem as though pictures are not worth the hassle. But extensive research has come out from Dr. Robert Cialdini in the areas that can inspire people. According to Dr. Cialdini, six areas need to be looked at to make the onlooker feel obligated to reciprocate, to make them feel as though their obligations are being committed, to feel that they can believe the word of their peers, be able to follow an influential figure, be able to buy from people they like and to act when faced with scarcity. All of the above are, in fact, things that can be addressed with the proper photo…all without saying a single word.

Using pictures and GIFs can actually entice someone to click on that picture as they will feel a sense of need to do so. One of the six areas mentioned that they might feel will be tickled, and they will feel the need to be a part of it…to find out more. So, that leads them to the site of your choice.

Therefore, pictures are important and most certainly worth the hassle. And, if you use any number of free resources out there, then the task becomes much less daunting, and the images you create will become that much more valuable. Some of the free resources available online right now that will help you gain the most from your images and pictures are Visage, Recodit, GIFBoom, Placeit, Studio, and Snapchat. Now, there are paid versions of most of these resources that might be considered later on, But to gain almost immediate entry into the world of CRO via pictures, any of these free versions will more than suffice. In the end, it doesn’t really matter which recourse you utilize. It only matters that you turn good pictures into great pictures and start to use them to provoke thought and clicks…which is the name of the game.
